In your first year of study, if you wish to switch to a different program, two options are available to you: You can switch majors as early as the first semester. You may request to switch to a different specialization or even a different bachelor’s program for the second semester of your first year. Contact your academic office as well as the National Education Psychologists (PsyEN) at the SCUIO-IP to learn about all the options and resources available to you. You will likely need to complete certain courses from the first semester of your new program. You can complete your current year and choose a different program for the next academic year. Starting in the second semester of your first year, you can no longer switch majors during the academic year. Instead of dropping out, you can complete your current year. This will allow you to redirect your academic path while maintaining the same level of study (first, second, or third year). To better plan your career path, contact the National Educational Psychologists (PsyEN) at SCUIO-IP.
