Plant Health Institute of Montpellier (PHIM)
Numerous interactions take place between the various micro- and macro-organisms in agro-ecosystems and plants. These interactions, which determine plant health, growth, and productivity, are often poorly understood.

The PHIM joint research unit produces knowledge and solutions to improve plant health and increase their productivity and quality. PHIM uses approaches from molecular biology and genetics, population genetics and genomics, epidemiology, and population dynamics and modeling to study these interactions at scales ranging from the cell to the cultivated plot.
