Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics, and Microelectronics (LIRMM)

The Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics, and Microelectronics (LIRMM) is a Joint Research Unit ( Research ) of the University of Montpellier (UM) and the National Center for Scientific R Research (CNRS). The laboratory has partnerships with Inria, Paul Valéry University of Montpellier (UPV), and the University of Perpignan (UPVD).
His research activities place him squarely at the heart of Information, Communication, and Systems Sciences and Technologies.
This research is conducted within 3 scientific departments and 22 research teams and covers Computer Science (algorithms and complexity, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, operations research, etc.), Robotics (robotics for the industry of the future, humanoid robotics and human-robot interactions, underwater exploration robotics, and surgical robotics and medical devices), and Microelectronics (modeling, design, testing, reliability, security, and energy efficiency of complex integrated electronic systems).
The LIRMM is home to more than 400 people, including Professors , researchers, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers, as well as IT and BIATS staff.
