It provides a forum for synergy between research structures and scientific cooperation, to develop joint initiatives between I-SITE members.

Pole Office
The role of the board is to prepare the cluster's board meetings and monitor the progress of its activities. It is also a forum for exchanging and sharing strategic information concerning the operation of the research cluster.
The operational team is responsible for setting up and carrying out the research cluster's missions, and for providing scientific leadership within the community on specific themes.

Strategic Orientation Committee (COS)
The Strategic Orientation Committee provides a link between Pôle de Research and its institutional partners. It participates in defining the Pôle de Research 's major scientific strategic orientations, and gives its opinion on the action plan proposed by the Director of the Pôle de Research.
Pole Council
The Conseil de Pôle issues advisory opinions on the direction and implementation of the Pôle's actions and strategy.
The Pôle Board is made up of 22 members with voting rights and invited members with consultative rights.

Human Resources Commission (CRH)
The Human Resources Commission deals with issues specific to the staff of the University of Montpellier. Each Human Resources Commission issues an advisory opinion, in compliance with the statutory provisions specific to the Professors and Researchers corps.

2 Marketed drugs (MacrilenTM, Sebivo) The first compound is a pseudo-peptide used to diagnose growth hormone deficiency in adults, the fruit of work carried out under the direction of Jean Martinez. It has been marketed by Æterna Zentaris in North America since 2018, and in Europe since 2019. The second compound is a non-natural antiviral nucleoside used against hepatitis B, developed by Dr. Gilles Gosselin and Prof. Jean-Louis Imbach, and marketed by Merck.
