The decree of May 19, 2026, regarding “the procedures for tuition fee exemptions for international students” modifies the regulatory framework and introduces new provisions for students who wish to enroll at the University of Montpellier. Until now, in accordance with existing regulations, the University of Montpellier could grant a partial exemption from tuition fees to all non-EU students. From now on, tuition fees are redefined and regulated by the entry into force of the decree.
