Charles Gerhardt Institute of Montpellier (ICGM)

Research conducted at the ICGM focuses on the development, characterization, and processing of functional materials at various scales, ranging from molecules to nanomaterials to devices.
The unit contributes to the development of innovative solutions to address current societal challenges in the areas of energy, health, and the environment, and is involved in numerous collaborations and projects—most of which are international in scope—through established partnerships with laboratories and universities around the world.
The ICGM holds the Institut Carnot Chimie Balard Cirimat designation and, as such, supports companies in various sectors with their R&D projects in chemistry and engineering, from molecules to materials.
