Charles Gerhardt Institute Montpellier (ICGM)

Research conducted at ICGM focuses on the development, characterization, and shaping of functional materials at different scales, from molecules to devices, including nanomaterials.
The unit contributes to the development of innovative solutions to current societal challenges in the fields of energy, health, and the environment, and develops numerous collaborations and projects, most of which are international in scope, with partnerships established with laboratories and universities around the world.
The ICGM is certified as an Institut Carnot Chimie Balard Cirimat and, as such, supports manufacturers in several sectors with their R&D projects in chemical science and engineering, from molecules to materials.
