As part of UM's Open Science policy, the UM Research Support Team is launching a series of webinars for the scientific community.

These webinars cover topics such as Open Science, scientific publications, research data and digital identifiers.

They take place every other Tuesday, between 11am and 12pm, with a presentation (between 20 and 40 minutes) and a time for discussion.

The webinar on October 1, 2024, from 11am to 12pm, will be on "Introduction
to Open Science".

Open Science is an international movement that aims to make scientific products (articles, data, codes, methods) accessible to as many people as possible. Currently booming, it is supported by numerous policies and institutions, both in France and worldwide.

The aim of this webinar is to present the main principles of Open Science, as well as the context and issues involved. It will also focus on research publications and data. In this way, you'll be able to understand and participate in this movement by producing a science with greater integrity and openness.
