Continuing education is just as much a part of a university's mission as initial training, research and professional integration. Continuing education is aimed at people who have interrupted their studies at some point in their lives, and who want to find or return to work, develop their careers, enhance their skills or acquire new knowledge.

• jobseekers, RSA recipients
• beneficiaries of special types of employment contracts (employees on work-study or subsidized contracts)
• liberal professions
• artisans
• young people under 26 wishing to follow a work-linked training course
